Our products for mobile networks meet the highest technical and environmental standards, to provide everyone with clear, uninterrupted signal. Prysmian’s extensive range covers feeder cables, flexible cables, coaxial antenna cables and jumper cables for GSM, WCDMA (UMTS), TDMA, D-AMPS, PCN, CDMA, and TETRA mobile telecommunication applications, plus WiMAX and broadcasting.

Product Families

RFX and RF2X coaxial antenna cables are coupled mode cables with a corrugated and milled outer conductor. RFX cables have slots in one line on the outer conductor and RF2X have slots in two lines on the outer conductor.

These cables are also available with a suspension wire: RFXK and RF2XK. RFXT cables are radiating mode cables with a periodically slotted and overlapped copper tape outer conductor. Both cables families deliver excellent longitudinal attenuation and coupling loss.

RFA feeder cables are compatible with standard connectors and accessories while their unique two-layer jacketing – harder HDPE surface outside, softer LDPE inside – provides the best cable protection in all installation environments, without sacrificing flexibility.

The foam dielectric has an extremely high degree of expansion and a special skin layer for extra protection.

Jumper cables are the perfect choice for antenna line connections. Features include stable electrical performance thanks to high quality superflexible cable and a special connector head design, and a soldered inner and outer conductor guarantees excellent return loss and low intermodulation.  The design of the assembly ensures the waterproofing of the jumper to IP 68 and is based on three principles:

  • 7-16 head sealing with O-rings
  • Induction soldering of the inner and outer conductors providing 360 degrees of contact and sealing
  • Enclosing the connection at the rear of the connector with injection molded body.

Superflexible RFF and extraflexible RFE cables guarantee top performance in all circumstances. The secret to their high performance – small bending radius combined with low attenuation – lies in their deep spiral corrugation construction. This ensures exceptional flexibility and crush resistance.
